LIBER 2021 Online has ended
This year, the LIBER 2021 Conference is a special one indeed. That’s because our organisation is celebrating our 50th anniversary and this year also marks the 50th conference that we’ve run. Over the years our conference has served as a vibrant hub for research libraries from all over Europe. Hence, this is a milestone to be celebrated and we are very excited to welcome you at our upcoming (virtual) conference!
The conference will be digitally co-hosted by our colleagues at the University of Belgrade Library in Serbia. As such, we aim to recreate and showcase our vibrant community that is the LIBER Network, while at the same time hosting our conference online and ensuring the safety of all conference participants.

Make sure you visit our virtual professional exhibition & networking space here: lbve.rs. You can also visit our virtual poster exhibition here and make sure to cast your vote for your favourite poster by filling in this form.

Feel free to browse through our digital programme and start building your customised schedule. If you haven’t registered for our conference please make sure that you do so here.

Jeannette Ekstrøm

Technical University of Denmark, DTU Library
Librarian / Senior Information Officer
An active, practicing Librarian from DTU, Denmark.

Most of my tasks evolve teaching, teaching planning, and outreach - from support to literature searching over to support on publication, databases, visualizations and other relevant tools. I have all through my career been a big fan of developing new skills, and competencies needed in my work, both now and in the future. I like to learn with others, and I try hard to share knowledge, whenever possible.
Data and skills in this regard have been on my own 'to learn' agenda for a while now. And I recently became a Certified Library Carpentry Instructor, and I am a strong believer in open access to information and Open Science is of great importance in order to gain the knowledge and know-how we need. I believe Librarians and Staff in University libraries do have an obligation to keep themselves updated on new tools, skills, methods, policies in regards to the work and the assignments we are providing support within, both when it comes to students as well as researchers and ADMIN colleagues.
